LIMP BIZKIT Cancel Dates In South Africa, United Arab Emirates

March 31, 2004

LIMP BIZKIT have officially cancelled their scheduled dates in South Africa and United Arab Emirates. According to the Dubai-based music web site Phride.com, "LIMP BIZKIT were supposed to arrive in Dubai [Thursday] morning [Apr. 1] but apparently DID NOT board the airplane and cancelled the show for no reason whatsoever. The cancellation came less than 48 hours before the show.

"Over 7,000 people bought the tickets to the show. [The fans in] Dubai are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in LIMP BIZKIT. The thousands of people who [bought] the tickets demand an explanation from Fred Durst. If he is a man, let him contact us on the email [addressed provided on Phride.com] and explain why he cancelled the show. We will post it on our main page for the thousands of (ex)- LIMP BIZKIT fans to read."

LIMP BIZKIT were originally supposed to play in South Africa earlier this year. About 20,000 tickets have been sold, according to SABC News.
